I had a life before this whole "heart thing"...
May 2008: With Marg and Chris at Beach Week.
May 2008: Darden graduation.
December 2008: With the girls (and two husbands) in Atlanta.
January 2009: With Marg and Chris in the Poconos.
July 2009: With Breezy and Tara in New Brunswick.
Summer 2009: With Amy in New Orleans.
September 2009: With the girls in NYC.
Life since October 2009...
October 2009: Early in my three-week stay in the CCU.
Halloween 2009: Karin, Marg and Chris brought costumes to the CCU. Mine was an elephant because my legs were so swollen, that's exactly what I felt like! Disclosing theirs could qualify for CLB (career-limiting behavior)...
December 25, 2009: The "kids" on Christmas morning.
June 2010: Dinner with Mom and Dad in New Brunswick.
July 21, 2010: This was when we found out the donor heart was good and surgery was a "go".
July 21, 2010: Immediately after surgery.
July 22, 2010: Out of bed, in a chair and not happy about it. With my wonderful surgeon, Dr. Anderson.
August 4, 2010: Getting acquainted with my vast new collection of meds.
August 8, 2010: Bruises galore.
August 13, 2010: My first glass of wine during Amy's visit (and showing off my wounds)!
September 9, 2010: Dinner with Mom and Dad the night before they left for Atlanta.
September 14, 2010: Scar comparison (8/8/10 and 9/14/10).
June 2011: Share NJ 5k
